Project Summary:
1.  Using 4 pre-cut squares of watercolor paper, students will practice 4 different watercolor techniques
2.  Students will focus on pattern making by sketching out ideas beforehand and then drawing their pattern designs onto the watercolor paper with white crayon; This will create a water color resist effect…the white pattern will show up against the watercolor paint as it repels the paint
3.  The 4 watercolor techniques that students will practice are: One Color Fade, Two Color Fade, Wet-Into-Wet Blending and Salt Effects
4.  A brief demo of the whole process will be given at the beginning of the class, but I will circulate and help students 1-on-1 or in small groups if they need help with anything
